The Washington Instructional Media Center contains books, magazines, videos, art prints, sound recordings and other materials to fulfill instructional needs as well as promote individual interests and further the appreciation of reading and learning. All of our local materials can be found through the online catalog which can be accessed from any computer with internet access either  at school or at home.  main library

In addition to the  twelve computers in the browsing area, there is an enclosed area with 15 more computers for student work and research.  Grant Wood Area Education Association provides access to online references, tutorials, and databases of magazine articles, news photographs, clipart, audio clips, and educational videos . The audio visual area, which is accessible through the IMC, contains the computer stations for scanning, digital video editing, CD recording, as well as the video, sound, and slide collections. The AV area is also the location of the video distribution unit and where the live announcements are done each day AV room
