Hospitality – Pam Westrom and Sara Clark thanked all for their generous contributions of Holiday cookies. They will prepare gift trays today for school staff and Bethany Lutheran. The timing of the next conference day, Monday January 19, will shift from 2pm – 9pm to 11:45 – 6:45 due to the fact that teachers would like to be able to attend the caucuses that evening. Therefore, the conference meal scheduled for that day will now be a lighter snack.

Cookie Sales –The next cookie sale will be December 16 th . A sign up was distributed. We have an abundance of volunteers.

Surveyor Ads – The next Surveyor ad will be used to promote the School Cents program. Regarding the new subscription for the paper – there are 5 issues remaining, the charge will be $2 per issue. The next Surveyor will have a subscription form included. Proceeds from subscription sales will be used for computer and camera equipment.

Fundraising – Laura Mattison asked for holiday dinner donations for needy families through the School Cents program. Keep using your Target Visas. Fifty additional WHS families are using the cards and making a difference.

Health Education – Lynn Dennis reported that in November the 9 th grade attended the Sexual Health sessions and the 10 th grade attended the Substance Abuse sessions. In January the 9 th grade will attend the Substance Abuse session. In April the 11 th grade will attend a Mental Health/Suicide session. That class has been given a survey to determine main areas of concern and interest. Our goal is to work towards uniformity with Kennedy's program and to expand the program overall.
