Struttmann Chosen as Washington's Volunteer of the Year AND Outstanding District Volunteer of the Year for 2008
Len has been an enthusiastic and tireless volunteer supporter of all Washington High School
performing arts (PA) activities since 1999. Washington students benefit from Len’s volunteer
work in so many ways. The PA website he created and maintains (http://washparts.org) helps
performers and their families stay organized, makes performance information readily available
to everyone, and, in general, helps build school pride in the performing arts. He makes
professional-quality photography available at no cost to students and their families by
attending and photographing numerous PA events throughout the year and posting
the photos on the website for easy access. He also enjoys working on stage sets and helps
students and other volunteers learn how to build sets.
